Postcards From the Road

We we're talking and realized we could barely remember when email and the internet didn't exist...and how cool it used to be get a letter or a postcard in the mail..so we decided we'd like to pick up a pen again and put down the keyboard (at least for a second). That being said, we'd like to try something new with you guys...we're going to call it "Postcards from the Road". Once a week, while on tour, we are going to pick a random fan who we will send a postcard with stories of our travels and adventures from the road. The winner will be announced in a video posted on our site so make sure to check back to see if it's you. To enter, email contest@drivebyworld.com with your name and mailing address. Once entered you will be eligible to win all future drawings for "Postcards From The Road". One winner will be selected at random every week during the duration of the contest.

Hi friends and well wishers, So we are doing a lil mini-tour in August. Please refer to our tour page for a date near you. Its been a while Florida...we missed you. We have installed a chat room on our myspace page. We will be having a chat with whomever wants to chat THIS THURSDAY, August 6th AT 7pm EST. Everybody, Give yourselves a round of applause. Our tour with MCR and Billy Talent went swimmingly. We had an enormous time!! Please look at our new tour dates>>they are up now!! We'll be coming back to see some of you very soon. We have some dates with I am the avalanche and Jet lag gemeni. And after that.....2 weeks with The Pink Spiders. June will be another great month. Hey yall, We played at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama yesterday. That place is haunted!! We are gonna post pics soon. Thanks to everyone who said hello. we are looking forward to The Beale St. Music Fest in Memphis. That's tomorrow. If you live here...come say hi and watch some really great performers like My Chemical Romance, Ben Folds, Roots...i could go on and on. We're back in St. Louis on Sat. We've done some good shows here in the past but we're very excited about this one. If you haven't seen "There will be blood" or "The Orphanage"......go and watch them now!!!!!

We are in Salt Lake City, UT this morning. We're playing at the Great salt air theater in Magna, UT tonight with our friends Billy Talent and My Chemical Romance . I spent all day yesterday listening to the last Billy Talent record. I love that band even more this morning than i did yesterday morning...and i get to watch them play in a few hours. I love this country!!!! Hope to see you tonight...or the night after......or the night after.....
